Akai has recently launched the new Akai QX-5790E CD/MP3 USB/SD Mini HiFi system with robust construction and it can offer versatile performance. A remarkable feature of the new product is the inclusion of both memory card and USB drive. It has come with the compatibility to play MP3 files as well. Apart from playing, the device can encode and record MP3 files directly on to SD cards.

An amplifier and 2 wooden speakers have been integrated with the device which supports audio power up to 40 watts each. RMS power outputs of the speakers have been measured as 20 watts each. A CD player has been equipped with the device which supports compatible CD-R and CD-RW media. It has the capability to play WMA file formats as well. FM stereo and MW RDS tuner are the 2 A/V features supported by this device. The device also supports 40 preset stations that include 30 FM and 10 MW stations. It has been featured with a 3.5 mm auxiliary RCA and a headphone socket.
