Sony MHC EC55 HiFi System is a music unit with a modern design and equipped with a 3-CD changer. The 3-CD changer is CD-R/RW and MP3-compatible. The key features include radio tuner, cassette deck, CD player, 3 Disc capacity and CD play exchange. Play exchange is a feature which allows changing of CD, without interrupting playback of another. It also features a FM tuner which can memorise up to 30 stations.

The main unit of this  Sony MHC EC55 CD HiFi System weighs 10 kg with dimensions of (W x D x H) 20 x 36 x 35.5cm and the speakers measure 23 x 43 x 34.5 cm with a weight of 3.8 kg. The system comes with virtual surround mode, equaliser, 2 channels and built-in clock. The sound effects supported are Groove and DSGX. It comes with total output power of 130 watt and total harmonic distortion is 10%.

This Sony MHC EC55 HiFi System comes with built-in LCD display along with illumination. It comes with a bass-reflex feature, which helps to deliver better bass reproduction. The other features include headphone jack and infrared remote control.
